Last Saturday (13), during the European Track Championships, in Apeldoorn, in the Netherlands, Lotte Kopecky won another competition in a record time of 19 minutes to complete the race. With another victory, the athlete obtains another gold medal in her career.

“When I saw the program, I was not satisfied with the points race and the elimination race one after the other. Luckily I managed to convince the coach to do both disciplines. With these two European titles in half an hour, it ended up being a very special day”, said the athlete.

With the race started, Lotte Kopecky crossed the finish line at 7:55 pm and her victory was confirmed at 8:14 pm. The achievement led the athlete to secure fifth place in the general classification of the European Track Championships, and one more in her professional career.

Previously, Lotte Kopecky won the Belgian Sportswoman of the Year award for the first time due to her recent seasons in the sports category becoming a milestone in the profession.

The 2023 season for the athlete generated many victories and celebrations as she took first place in 14 road competitions such as the Simac Ladies Tour, Thuringen Ladies Tour and Nokere Koerse. Furthermore, Tour de Flanders, Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Tour de France Femmes are also included in her resume.
