Tom Holland, 26, has announced that he will be taking a break from social media indefinitely. Last Sunday (14), the actor posted a video on Instagram explaining that he needs some time off to take care of his mental health.

The “Spider-Man: No Way Home” actor said that he feels suffocated by the amount of things he reads about himself on the networks, as if he is “stuck in a spiral”.

“I find Instagram and Twitter to be overstimulating, to be overwhelming,” the “Uncharted” actor said in the three-minute clip. “I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online. And ultimately, it’s very detrimental to my mental state. So, I’ve decided to take a step back and delete the app”, he vented. 

In the comments, fans and friends left messages supporting her decision. Singer Justin Bieber wrote: “Love you man”.
