The Puerto Rican said in a chat with Benicio Del Toro for Interview Magazine, released on Tuesday (13), that his signature phrase wasn’t international and “It’s just a sound that comes out naturally”.

“When I’m on the mic, whether it’s to record a song or when I’m improvising, it’s my way of getting the rhythm of the track, like all the rappers who use the ‘Yeah yeah”, said Bunny. The singer added that sometimes he tries to “avoid” making the sound for fear of using it too much, but that “it always sneaks in”.

“It’s a tic that comes out naturally when I’m recording, and look what it’s become”, added Bunny. His most recent album is “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana”, released in October, and he is set to kick off his “Most Wanted Tour” at the end of February.
