Ariana Grande has confirmed she’s no longer dating Mac Miller and, honestly, this hurts way worse than my own goddamn breakup.
On Thursday morning it was reported that the singer and the rapper had gone their separate ways after nearly 2 years together. And though we refused to believe this was true—now Grande herself has confirmed they’re no longer together and therefore that love doesn’t exist.
“Hi! This is one of my best friends in the whole world and favorite people on the planet Malcolm McCormick,” Ari wrote on an emotional post on Instagram Stories. “I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us.”
Alongside a picture of Ariana hugging Mac Miller, the singer wrote: “Unconditional love is not selfish. It is wanting the best for that person even if at the moment, it’s not you. I can’t wait to know and support you forever and I’m so proud of you.”
What are we supposed to do with this information? How do they expect us to be believe that they’re still friends? Are we supposed to hold out hope that they’ll get back together when their schedules aren’t as hectic? HOW DO WE LIVE?
