There soon be a diplomatic way to ignore people without you eventually run out of friends. Instagram is finally adding a very much needed “mute” button. The new feature will allow people to hide post from certain annoying friends without blatantly offending them.
The option, which will roll out to a test to some users in the coming weeks, has been high up on people’s lists for years. So, understandably the Internet is celebrating the countless broken friendships over an unfollowing that have just been prevented.
