Mariah Carey, James Packer plan ‘biggest wedding ever’

Mariah Carey wants to get married this summer and she wants it to be a massive, lavish affair.

The diva has only been engaged to boyfriend James Packer for about a week, but that hasn’t stopped the Hero hitmaker from making plans for an extravagant European wedding.

“Mariah is just beyond excited right now,” a source close to the singer told RadarOnline.com. “She has wanted to be his wife pretty much since they first got together and has already started to plan what type of wedding she wants to have.”

“She wants this wedding to be the biggest and most expensive wedding that the world has ever seen!”

Packer, a 48-year-old Australian businessman, popped the question last week after whipping out a stunning $8 million ring. “She was blown away,” the source said. “She knew that he was going to propose to her, but he told her that he could not wait any longer.”

It was reported earlier that the 45-year-old singer and her new fiancé were both still legally married to their estranged spouses Nick Cannon and Erica Packer, but Mariah has reportedly already decided she wants to be wed where she fell in love with Packer – in the Mediterranean.

According to TMZ, the couple have already shacked up together in a Calabasas, California mansion they are leasing at a whopping $250 000 a week.
