Kanye West: New album coming…I’m not crazy

Kanye West has assured us that he is not crazy, just free…and he has a new album planned for later this year.

The 38-year-old rapper has been very vocal online in the lead up and aftermath of the release of his latest album The Life of Pablo, but he insists questions about his sanity are unfounded.

“People ask why I speak in a public forum…Well my voice is my power. Freedom of speech. Freedom of opinion. Freedom of dreams,” he tweeted.

West’s recent spike in activity on social media has many, including celebrity TV psychologist Dr. Phil, questioning the rapper’s sanity.

“I’m not crazy I’m free. No slave mindset no more. I’m free. I’m free. I’m free,” Kanye responded on Twitter Wednesday. “I represent what people can’t say,” he said. “I love being a voice of freedom when so many people are scared to speak up.”

Last week Kanye shocked many with the revelation that he is in debt for $53 million, asking Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to invest $1 billion in his “ideas” on Twitter.

The rapper, who released his latest album on February 14, also dropped another bombshell in his latest Twitter rant.

“New album coming this summer,” he tweeted after admitting, “I’m not even gon lie to you. I love me so much right now.”
