Mariah Carey has been strongly warned against performing in Brussels after horrific bomb attacks killed more than 30 people there on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old diva has been warned in “the strongest of terms” against performing at the Forest National stadium in the Belgian capital on Sunday, TMZ reports.
The date is part of Carey’s The Sweet Sweet Fantasy tour in the UK and Europe and it is set to be a special occasion as it coincides with the “We Belong Together” singer’s birthday.
Her security team has, however, voiced major concerns about her appearance at the venue with a capacity of about 8,000 fans.
There is no official word from Mariah Carey or her team yet as they are said to await advice from the US embassy.
The three bombs set off at the Brussels Zaventem airport and the Maelbeek Metro killed at least 34 and injured 200 more early on Tuesday.
