Amber Heard’s restraining order against her estranged husband Johnny Depp has been extended for two months.
The 30-year-old actress originally requested the restraining order days after filing for divorce from the A-list actor.
The order has now been extended to 15 August after the looming court battle was postponed from its original date of 17 June to a an as of yet undecided new date, Daily Mail reports.
The order was granted after Heard claimed the 53-year-old actor threw an iPhone at her during a heated argument at the end of May.
Amber’s friend iO Tillett Wright has since claimed the actor abused Heard throughout their 15-month marriage.
“Every time it happened, her first thought was about protecting him,” Wright said. “I know this because I went to their house.”
“I saw the pillow with my own eyes. I saw the busted lip and the clumps of hair on the floor.”
