They say love knows no age… and neither does Scott Disick.
After much speculation and paparazzi pictures, it’s been “confirmed” that Scott Disick, 34, and Sofia Richie, 19, are officially hooking up.
On Sunday, an anonymous source told US Weekly: “Things became official over the past week while they were in New York City together.”
The rumored couple were seen together grabbing coffee in Calabasas before hitting up Beverly Hills just last Friday. But in fact, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and Lionel Richie’s youngest daughter go way back.
“It’s so weird. Not just the age difference, but mostly the fact that Sofia had been a family friend for years, and was close to Kendall and Kylie,” the insider told the magazine.
The odd duo sparked romance rumors when they were first seen together in South France on May 18, when Scott was photographed chatting with Sofia and carrying her around a yacht, just days after he was spotted cozying up with also-much-younger Bella Thorne.
A month after the PDA scene in Cannes, Richie was all smiles as she was FaceTiming the self-proclaimed Lord while she was waiting at Los Angeles International Airport.
Later in June, Scott Disick and Sofia Richie stepped out for a dinner date in Malibu walking arm in arm.
While Disick hasn’t addressed his relationship with Sofía, the young model took to Twitter after their flirty picures in France came out to try to squash the romance rumors. “Scott and I are just homies #relax” she tweeted.
Before dating young women, Scott Disick was in an on-again off-again relationship with the eldest Kardashian for nine years. Kourtney broke up with him over July 2015, after he went on a month-long partying bender and photos appeared to who him getting cozy with another woman. They have three children together—sons Mason 7, and Reign, 2, and daughter Penelope, 5.
As for Sofia, she had a fling with Justin Bieber (who, by the way, has also been linked romantically to Kourtney Kardashian… SAY WHAT?!) in summer 2016. And while JB ended up things with Richie because “it was super hot and heavy, and [he didn’t] want a relationship”, the Canadian pop star did quit Instagram over fan reactions to his romance with Sofia.
Could Scott ever quit his @letthelordbewithyou Instagram account for Sophia? I mean, I imagine that has be the way to win a teenager’s heart—right?
