Ariana Grande And Mac Miller Are No Longer Together

Just a couple weeks ago, Mac Miller gushed about girlfriend Ariana Grande on Twitter when she released her new single No Tears Left To Cry. But today, TMZ has reported that the couple had split—and the reason may sound familiar.

Insiders say the rapper and the singer decided to go their separate ways after nearly 2 years of dating as their busy schedules became too much for the pair to continue as a couple, especially since Ariana has been working on her upcoming album, Sweetener, set for release on July 20.

However, TMZ, citing unnamed sources, also reported that the split is amicable and that Grande and Miller still “love each other dearly” and have remained friends since they “quietly split.”

The news may come as a surprise to people who witnessed the pair getting cozy backstage last month at Coachella music festival, where Grande made a surprise performance. But, apparently, that’s not the case anymore.

The two had been an item since at least August 2016, when they were seen kissing at a sushi bar. They had collaborated on Grande’s 2013 hit The Way and Miller’s My Favorite Part.

Miller and Grande’s romance spanned a difficult time for the Dangerous Woman pop star. She performed at a May 2017 concert in Manchester, England, where 22 were killed and 119 others injured in a terrorist bomb attack.

Miller was constantly at Ariana’s side as she recovered from the traumatic events, and even attended the One Love Manchester benefit concert hosted by Ariana last June in benefit of the victims and their families. The pair performed The Way and Dang! while also sharing a kiss on stage.
