It looks like Justin Bieber is on the brink of rekindling another past romance—and for once, it has nothing to do with Selena Gomez.
Hailey Baldwin, 21, and the Sorry singer, 24, are back on friendly terms—maybe even too friendly. The two was spotted spending some quality time together in Miami over the weekend, fueling speculation from fans that they’re giving their old love a new shot.
The pair was spotted cuddling at not one, but two locations. They were seen attending a church even on Saturday at Hillsong’s Calvary Church in Miami. Late that night, they were spotted again at LIV nightclub and photos circulating on the Internet prove that they were getting quite cozy.
Their romantic outing comes just weeks after Baldwin admitted in an interview that her and Bieber had experience some “post-split weirdness” back when they broke up in 2016, after dating for over a year.
She told the publication: “We didn’t speak for quite some time and there was a lot of weirdness that went on. I’d never been through [a high-profile relationship] like that. But it brought both of us to the realization that we just work much better as friends. He’s somebody I really cherish. Now it’s a very mature situation. It’s good.”
The internet has had quite a strong reaction to Hailey and Justin getting back together, especially given that just last month it was rumored that the model was dating the also Canadian singer Shawn Mendes.
After much speculation, the world thought they had made their debut as a couple when they walked the 2018 Met Gala red carpet together, although they both later denied it.
“No, we were not making our big debut. We were both asked to walk by Tommy Hilfiger,” Shawn explained in an interview. “Obviously Hailey and I are friend, and it was just really cool for me to be able to walk with her because she’s a vet and it was my first year, so it kind of took the pressure off a little bit. I was thrilled to be able to go with her.”
So Baldwin is, in fact, single. And so is Biebs. Is this old love really rekindling or is it another just night out? Only time will tell what’s really going on between them.
