Once upon a time, Drew Barrymore and Justin Long met on the set of the not so aptly named movie He’s Just Not That Into You and embarked on an three-year relationship, becoming one of the cutest Hollywood couples anyone could imagine.
However, since splitting for good nearly 8 years ago, both Drew and Justin have moved on. She got married and had two children with Will Kopelman, whom she divorced in 2016. He dated Scottish singer and Chvrches frontwoman Lauren Mayberry since 2016.
But as it turns out, their second project together Going the Distance, will prove true, as the former couple reunited at New York City’s Lowell Hotel last week.
According to reports, Long came in alone at the hotel but left the premises with Barrymore. “They are both single and they are spending time together,” a source told E! News, “but that’s all it is for now.”
Ok. Maybe they’re just friends right now. Maybe she is right and “just because the ‘in love’ doesn’t work doesn’t mean the love goes away.” But let us remind you all that Drew and Justin started out as friend ten years ago, too. Only time will tell…
