Really? Cyberbullying a 13 and 15-year-old for falling in love? That’s just plain creepy. Here are some of the Twitter reactions to Millie Bobby Brown and Jacob Sartorius’ teen love. (Photo: Instagram)
Don’t get us wrong—we know the feeling. But we’d like to think we’re all now grown adults who understand that Millie and Jacob are just kids! (Photo: Twitter)

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the last 48 hours, Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and musician Jacob Sartorius are now Instagram official.
Now, as much as we all love Millie, one would think that freaking adults have better things to do with their lives than commenting on a teenager’s relationship—like doing their taxes, paying their debts, or worrying about their own dating life for that matter, just to name a few.
But it seems like nowadays, adults just don’t have their priorities straight.
“I just saw that Millie Bobby Brown and Jacob Sartorius are dating,” someone tweeted. “I’m not really invested in young teen culture but I imagine they all feel how I felt when Miley Cyrus started dating Nick Jonas,” she continued.
Look—in a way, this girl has a point. We get it. We’ve been there. But us hating on Miley for dating our teenage crush (and vice versa) was 12 freaking years ago for God’s sake! We are all grown ups now. And we’d like to think that, as the adults that we are, we’ve mature at least enough to understand that Millie and Jacob are just kids being kid. And that us, as +18ners, should just mind our own business.
But looking at the disturbing messages that have been swirling around Twitter (that, mind you, are mostly from, you guessed it, adults), well, we probably have way too high expectations for our generation.
Really? Cyberbullying a 13 and 15-year-old for falling in love? That’s just plain creepy. Something is seriously wrong with you if you’re lashing on Millie and Jacob’s relationship. Find a hobby, get a life—better yet, get your crap together.
From the creepy tweets to the awkward jokes to the people celebrating Jillie—yes, that’s their celebrity couple name, apparently—, here are some of the Twitter reactions to Millie Bobby Brown and Jacob Sartorius’ teen love.
