“Pawn Stars” Fans Mourn The Dead Of Richard “The Old Man” Harrison

No expert needed to know “The Old Man” will truly be missed.

Richard “The Old Man” Harrison, co-owner of the Las Vegas Gold & Silver Pawn Shop and patriarch of the Pawn Stars family, passed away on Monday at age 77.

“Richard Benjamin ‘The Old Man’ Harrison passed away this morning surrounded by those he loved,” his son Rick Harrison confirmed in a statement. “He will be tremendously missed by our family, the team at Gold & Silver Pawn and his many fans the world over. He was my hero and I was fortunate to get a very cool ‘Old Man’ as my dad.”

His dry sense of humor, never-ending scolding, and contagious passion for history made The Old Man one of the most beloved characters of the show ever since it premiered in July 2009 on History Channel.

Fans of Pawn Stars have taken to Twitter to mourn the dead of Richard “The Old Man” Harrison. Here are some of their reactions. P.S. We would gladly pay $150 grand for him to be back… and that would be a bargain.
