Comic book legend Stan Lee unfortunately passed away at the at the age of 95 on Monday. The news of the death of Stan Lee to an outpouring of grief on Twitter by celebrities who loved the Marvel great’s work.
A cause of death has not been revealed at this time, but reports indicate that Stan was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles and passed away.
As the co-creator of Marvel comics and figurehead of the company, Stan Lee created many of the beloved superheroes that we see on screen today, like Spider-Man, the Hulk, Ironman, and many more. First put on paper decades ago, those character now permeate the movie industry as billion-dollar franchises.
